Tsukemono means “pickled things”. Pickles are a staple of Japanese cuisine that round out the flavour profile of any dish.

OUR FOOD
TSUKEMONO is Adam and Iris.
They met on a beach in Cambodia and instantly started talking about Japan; comparing notes on favourite films, artists and, of course, food. Determined to recreate the tastes they both found in Japan, they taught themselves to cook all the dishes they couldn’t find back home. Five years later, with a notebook full of recipes, they’ve settled in Bristol.
